Fotoeins Friday: Egon Schiele, 4 of 4

Vienna-based artist Egon Schiele was an important participant in and contributor to the early 20th-century Vienna Modernism arts and culture movement. This month, I highlight every week an artwork created by Schiele; all works are housed in Vienna.

•   Kneeling Woman in Orange-Red Dress, 1910: Leopold Museum.
•   Cardinal and Nun / Caress, 1912: Leopold Museum.
•   Mother and Child, 1912: Leopold Museum.
•   Tod und Mädchen (Death and the Maiden), 1915: Upper Belvedere.

Egon Schiele died 105 years ago on 31 October 1918.

I made the photo above on 19 May 2018 with a Fujifilm X70 fixed-lens prime and these settings: 1/60-sec, f/3.6, ISO2000, and 18.5mm focal length (28mm full-frame equivalent). This post appears on Fotoeins Fotografie at fotoeins DOT com as https://wp.me/p1BIdT-qvb.
