Waxing critical
The only thing under eclipse or concealment is my time in the VanCity is drawing to a close, that transience will once again be the new permanence. How long that interval endures, remains a little muddy. But from the moment I returned over 10 years ago what’s still crystal-clear is that there’s more certitude beyond the ring of hills encircling this metro-sized pocket of self-important provinciality, and that staying here is a freeway to doubt, torpidity, and ruin.
