Fotoeins Friday: Berliner WeihnachtsZauber and Christmas Magic
WeihnachtsZauber Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most beautiful markets in the German capital city of Berlin. Located in the city centre in the famous Gendarmenmarkt plaza surrounded by two churches and a music hall, this Christmas market charges a small 1 Euro admission charge, and much of the proceeds go to charitable causes. Appearing here in front of the Deutscher Dom (German Cathedral), the tree and decorations were generously donated by the Croatian capital city of Zagreb.
I made the image above on 17 December 2012 with the Canon EOS450D camera, EF-S 18-55 IS II zoom-lens, and the following settings: 1/15s, f/4.5, ISO800, 29mm (46mm) focal length.
