Fotoeins Friday in Kleinwalsertal: Riezlern
Austria’s Kleinwalsertal (Little Walser Valley) is a picturesque mountain valley southeast from Oberstdorf. This piece of Austria’s Vorarlberg is cut off from the rest of the federal state and country; so, the only way in by car or bus is through the town of Oberstdorf in southern Germany.
Riezlern is the gateway town into the Kleinwalsertal with an abundant number of summer hiking and winter skiing activities, with access not only to Kanzelwand (and across the border to Fellhorn), but also over a dozen lifts in the valley. In the image above, passengers wait under cover at bus stop “Riezlern Post” with the mountains behind defining the frontier between Austria and Germany.
I made the photo above on 9 March 2017 with a Canon 6D mark 1 and the following settings: focal length. This post appears on Fotoeins Fotografie at fotoeins DOT com as https://wp.me/p1BIdT-gmA.
