Fotoeins Friday in Kleinwalsertal: Mittelberg
Austria’s Kleinwalsertal (Little Walser Valley) is a picturesque mountain valley southeast from Oberstdorf. This piece of Austria’s Vorarlberg is cut off from the rest of the federal state and country; so, the only way in by car or bus is through the town of Oberstdorf in southern Germany.
At the local bus stop “Mittelberg Ort” in front of the Hotel Alte Krone, this morning view at the back of the hotel faces south-southeast into the fog, mist, and rain; all of which hints at the transition from winter to spring. From a “geo” standpoint, you’re looking at the Breitach valley with Zwölferkopf at left and Barenkopf at right.
I made the photo above on 9 March 2017 with a Canon 6D mark 1 and the following settings: 1/250-sec, f/16, ISO1000, and 24mm focal length. This post appears on Fotoeins Fotografie at fotoeins DOT com as https://wp.me/p1BIdT-gm1.
