Fotoeins Friday: Track 14B, Berlin Hauptbahnhof
“Mmmmmm, interference fringes …”
Even at 7pm, it’s unusual to see a lack of people in Berlin’s central train station, even at the very northwest corner of the second floor (above ground; 2. OG). The two remaining tracks to the left are 15 and 16, used solely by east-west S-Bahn trains on the city’s “Stadtbahn.”
I made the photo above on 2 May 2015 with the Canon EOS6D, 24-105 L zoom-lens, and the following settings: 1/160s, f/11, ISO500, 24mm focal-length. This post appears on Fotoeins Fotopress at fotoeins.com as http://wp.me/p1BIdT-8Af.

Thanks for your comment! I have no problems with either brand. For me, I happened to choose Canon, and I’ve stayed with the brand. If you’re thinking about cameras with different lenses, consider the cost of camera body and lenses; most of the (lasting) value will be in the lenses. Also consider what your friends are using, because you can always try and borrow their lenses to see what works for you. You might ask if I might consider switching brands, and aside from the cost of switching and buying new lenses, I think I’d dream big and consider switching to Leica. 🙂
