Even an overcast day with a little bit of light rain can’t spoil the fact that the Charlottenburg palace is a highlight in the capital city of Berlin. Accessible by bus, U-Bahn, or S-Bahn, a visit to the palace buildings and surroundings can easily occupy a good half-day. I walked the grounds for a couple of hours, and imagined what today’s beautiful green space must have been like in centuries past. I will have “guided” the golden statue at the top of the main building just to make the inevitable statement about the past, present, and future: “And so it goes, the world …”
I made this photo above on 5 May 2015 with the Canon 6D, EF 24-105 L IS zoom-lens, and the following settings: 1/1600s, f/5, ISO500, and 70mm focal length. This post appears on Fotoeins Fotopress at fotoeins.com as http://wp.me/p1BIdT-6LV.
