Christmas in July (8 of 14), Hamburg Altona

Hamburg-Altona, Germany – 21 December 2010.

A number of long-distance Deutsche Bahn IC/ICE train-routes from southern Germany terminate at Hamburg-Altona station. After alighting from the train at the ground-level platforms, it was a nice surprise to walk out onto Ottenser Hauptstrasse and see the lights of the Christmas market on full display.
